It's ok. Most of the food isn't freshly cooked. It frozen food that is just heated up and serve. Dessert had a lot to offer but again... Nothing is fresh. Hard cup cakes for example.

Celebrated my daughter's 1st birthday here. The food was quite tasty but I noticed that a lot od food had yet to be replenished. Also didn't appreciate the fact that they charged us $3 for my daughter who only nibbled on some food. Plus when we mentioned it was her birthday, they said the birthday discount didn't apply unless it was applied to a group bill (we had over 30 people in attendance). Not impressed. Spoonful do better!

Our family's favourite buffet restaurant. The selection of food is unparalleled as is the quality. We always have a great time. The grill, sushi and desserts are really outstanding. Needless to say, we always leave with full bellies! Coming on your birthday or birthday month is an extra special treat with discount!

Dinner was not worth the price due to the unexciting selection of food and their taste. The oysters did not taste fresh. Some serving plates/trays were empty at a few stations for far too long. Cramped up floor plan. Line ups at every station. Too crowded. Unfriendly servers. Our server actually served us our bill without any us asking for it first. We felt like we were rushed and forced to inhale our food and leave the restaurant in a scurry!

It was a long drive for us just to have some fresh oysters and they did not disappoint. The restaurant's ambiance and layout is quite on the high end. Cost is also an the high side but the food selection is quite diverse. Their food taste great. The staff are proactive and helpful.

Not a very good experience, probably because the night was slow, not too busy on a Friday night. Sashimi is not that fresh, kind of defrosted too much. Oysters are dry, probably has been opened for too long, and didn't clean it too well. Crab legs do not have much taste, not even a little bit of salty from the sea. Hot food are warm and tasty, but those seafood one are not that clean with a bit of sand within. Nice ice-cream shelf, but seems like it needs to fix or turn to a lower temperature.Overall, not enough varieties of what you have to pay for. Quality control is a concern. Only appreciate on they have different discount during the week, and the service is in standard.

We came on Family Day right when it opened and food was hot, lots of variety and plentiful. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I would come back to try the weekly specials and evening options. Spoonful will now be my new go to spot for Asian buffet.

Came here for a birthday party of 9. Was greeted and accommodated perfectly. Food selection was great and tables were cleared before returning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommend for a alternative to other buffets.

Lots of selection that you wouldn't find at other Chinese buffets. Really enjoyed the amount of seafood available. Kids especially love the dessert section with fresh baked mini donuts, cupcakes, ice cream, waffles, etc.

Food is so dried out and hard. They food has no taste. The stake was so tuff I choked. Only giving one star because I have no choice. Will NEVER return. Worst experience ever. That cake I’m holding is rock hard. I’m honestly so dissatisfied and unhappy. OVER RATED. Save your money and time.

Spoonful is a great place to eat, I've been here for dinner and you should definitely take advantage of their birthday promotion. This time I came for lunch and their selection is JUST as big, I couldn't even tell the difference between the variety. The staff is supper nice and friendly. Highly recommend coming when they have oyster out !

One of the better buffets with a lot of variety and a meat/pasta station where they cook for you. Reasonably priced for the variety and rather large. Wait times were never an issue for me plus there's a mall right next to it.

This place is wonderfull. The food is a very delicious. We are recommended this place to celebrate important occasions.

This is the buffet we go to whenever we are celebrating a holiday or want to eat out. The selection accommodates for all tastes, with sushi, a fresh seafood area, hot foods table, and grill. The quality of the food is consistently good, and we definitely will return for many more meals to come!

Do not recommendThis restaurant had a lot of variety, but none of the selection was good.All the food was cold, the lamb was chewy and the chicken was under-seasoned and under cooked. The noodles were cold despite being in steamers.Also, the quiche are bought from Costco, they are not made in house.will not be coming back

Absolutely worst meal I have ever had. Cold, flavorless garbage and that's being unkind to garbage I am surprised the Health Department hasn't closed the place down. They advertise prime rib and its nothing more than mere over cooked flank steak. Seafood is rubbery and virtually inedible. Avoid this place like the plague

When I went to the spoonful with my mom and uncle they did not tell us to bring a health card. The owner of THE restaurant was rude to us there food was a little good but not that good and the restaurant should not be Expensive because the food was not that good. I did not like there bathrooms on the Toilet it had a black spot!. To be honest I would never come to this spoonful restaurant ever aging! . And when I went there the owner said the kid has to have a health card. I'm not coming to this spoonful restaurant.

We went on a week so there wasn't too much a crowd which could mean that the turn around on replenishing the food was slower. The food was okay, they had a good variety of seafood, meats, veggies, sushi, soups, side dishes and many choices for sweets at the end of your meal. The servers were generally nice and came often to pick up the used dishes. The decor was pleasant and had good ambiance. Not a bad choice for a date on a week night. But might get noisy and crowded on the weekends.

Perfect place for a seafood fix!! Great selection of hot and cold, seafood and non seafood dishes. Service is typical of buffet restaurants. Food quality is decent.

It was great going the first time... however the two visits after that was not good at all. My husband found a parasite in the muscles, the oysters were not good, too much food that sits out exposed for extended periods of time which is not good for the seafood at all. The quality and selection of the meat, is great, and so is the atmosphere... aside from that they don't have much going for them. Sometimes having such a wide selection of food isn't always the best.

I like this place but on this visit the place was a little empty so they didn't refresh the food fast enough so everything is mostly lukewarm, also scallops the best thing in the place was never really there. Otherwise food selection is good, and place is nice, maybe food would be better if it were more busy but it's not completely their fault.

Well I left stuffed lol... lots of food and dessert variety. Very good value for the buffet price! I'll definitely be a repeat customer! Tons of parking and the restaurant itself is huge and takes reservations. There website will show you everything you need to know

For reference this is my first review, I've never felt the need to review a place until today. This by far is the worst food I've ever had. The lobster was watery, cold and inedible. The rest of the food was flavorless and cold. I hoped the desserts were better, sadly thet weren't. The donut machine is a nice marketing tool but it was never turned on. We went as a group, not one of us were happy with anything we tried and we're not a picky bunch. Save yourself the drive and go to the Mandarin instead.

The food is always well prepared and yummy, workers provides great customer service. I loved the cleanliness and mood. Would recommend to others.

This restaurant is my favored. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The team is very welcoming and the cuisine they place on your table is so good. I never decline to have a nice dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

What Spoonful has over all other buffets is pretty much what it says in the name. It’s the variety. I don’t live close to this location but every visit I have, I am able to try something new and enjoy it. The limit to how much exotic seafood you can bring back to your table is fair. You can always go back for more. They specialize in Chinese dishes but have every other ethnicity you can think of. My recent visit there was a lot of oxtail, lamb bbq, oysters, big snails, crab legs and much more. The only issue I had with my food was the bbq cuts as they were extremely fatty. It was very difficult to find lean pieces to balance our the fatty pieces. But overall the seasoning was balanced and delicious.The price here is decent for the selection they have. Most buffets are $30-40 now, but pay the extra $10 here and get a better experience, especially seafood wise.

Came here for Sat dinner buffet. Very good selection of food. Not overly salty and love all the food esptheir smoked duck, crab legs, bbq duck, sushi. Will come again.

If you have a taste for all kinds of sea food, and exotic asian cuisine, check it out. That said, I found it a little expensive. The atmosphere is very modern and roomy, but not cozy. This was my first time, so I would have go again to firm up my impressions. By the way, the buffet selection is very generous, and there are great dessert choices to make kids happy.

Been here multiple times and is by far my favourite buffet in the GTA. Large selection and variety. Food is good, decor and service is great. Washroom layout sucks and could use more stalls. Overall still my favourite buffet restaurant.

It's my kind of restaurant, but Greeter was rude and condescending. Their phony apology ended with "there,are you happy now?" We immediately walked out.

Kids had a great time! Great selection! The crab limit needs to be removed especially for someone who went there just for crab.

One of my favorite Asian buffet restaurants. There's a holiday price right now till end of 2019, so price is much higher than normal prices (it's not mentioned on their website) but you get more crab legs, oysters and other sea food. Holiday prices are posted at restaurant doors.

The oyster is definitely not good... very disappointed about the seafood provided. Just an average level (at most) Asian food restaurant with a little higher price during festival time. In fact half of the hobby was occupied by deserts and candies, which made me doubt the variety of the main dishes that some previous reviews mentioned. As none of the candies or deserts could be called Chinese food or Asian food. Tables were organized very close to each other. Staff were friendly though. Overall I have many better options closer to my place.

We've been coming here as whole family every occasions as we love there food. There's a lot of choices and all fresh. The staff are kind and accommodating especially those serving us. It is highly recommended to everyone.

There is a large variety of options, mainly focusing on seafood however i felt that the food is never hot and is at best lukewarm and is sometimes relatively cold. Some of the food options had lots of flavor while others were bland. Service was good and overall the place was alright.

This was an amazing first experience. Employees are very respectful , nice , and helpful . Never had to ask for a re fill on drinks , reasonable prices . Also many options on food and dessert that tasted very well prepared , as well as warm and not cold . Highly recommend.

Sushi and scallops are great. But the crab legs tasted like water. Our waitress was helpful.

The food is mediocre, it may be a step above Mandarin but not by a lot. The front service isn't as great. You spend a really long time waiting for a table (when they're not busy) and they just keep telling you random times to hold you off. The table service is decent though. Their layout is cool but sometimes it's confusing and causes a huge buildup with delays. If you think I'm making a traffic report, that's literally what it feels like when you're going for food sometimes.
